The Cascade Heights Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization created by a group of concerned residents living in the Cascade Heights area with the goal of making the neighborhood more vibrant and appealing. The primary focus of the organization is to be a vehicle to support a cohesive effort to revitalize the Cascade Heights Commercial District in a way that will both sustain the success of the corridor, reflect the vision of the surrounding community to balance growth with preservation of the community’s character.
Our Mission and vision
The mission of Cascade Heights Community Development Corporation (CHCDC) is to provide focused attention to the growth and development of the historic Cascade Heights Commercial District through initiatives that will attract and retain businesses that serve the economic and social diversity of the neighborhoods that surround it. Our vision is to have Cascade Heights Commercial District become a destination district within the Atlanta.

What We've Achieved
Completed the Georgia Tech study of the existing commercial corridor's status.
Created a book that Developers can use to formulate future development ideas.
Housing Cascade Heights Project - in conjunction with Atlanta City Studio -
Facilitated the relocation of the Atlanta Design Center to the Cascade.
Published three articles on the current status of the Commercial Corridor.
Activating a new public realm project - Cascade Heights Urban Greenspace District
